Patio Talks: Fort Bonneville

September 23 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

WyoHistory.org and the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center present Kylie the Historian at their Summer Patio Talks discussing Fort Bonneville. In August 1832, Captain Bonneville completed his short-lived fort on Green River, near present-day Daniel, WY, which he quickly abandoned due to snow. 83 years later, H.G. Nickerson and Grace Raymond Hebard were able to locate and mark Fort Bonneville. Learn more about the search for Bonneville’s Folly decades after it disappeared.
