DESCRIPTION:Historian Doris Bergen’s burning house metaphor for the Holocaust is the foundation of this course exploring the preconditions leading to the Holocaust. Connecting the long history of anti-Judaism and antisemitism to personal experiences of antisemitism growing up in Wyoming\, including recent examples from the news\, the instructor teaches about the Holocaust in a responsible manner\, promoting empathy and emphasizing the power of words. \nTwo session course.
